Updating pictures on my Etsy Shop - I'm a photographer, why didn't I do this sooner?

My Crochet Etsy Shop was in the need of some MAJOR picture upgrades. I got the wake up call when I asked a handmade group what I was possibly doing wrong. She gave me the throw down of what I needed to change, and delete, and upgrade. Long story short, I need to update a lot! So I got some pictures out the way, and I have a few more that I need to upgrade. But yay! That was the first step. Now I must finish everything else while I go on my short vacation from sunny Florida to chilly Tennessee. Time for title, descriptions, and bio changes! So check out The Stitch Queen on Etsy! Etsy Listing Crochet Star Wars Character Droid BB8 - BB-8 Rug, Mat, or Couch Cover that is Handmade! The Force Awakens is ready to decorate your home!

People are going to start asking me what I've been doing this New Year. And what's my answer? Crochet of course! I've been creating like crazy these last few weeks. And Star Wars. Yes Star Wars. I've been a fan for as long as I can remember, thanks to my dad. Everyone seems to have fallen in love with BB-8. I've been maeaning make rugs, blankets, mats, pillows, totes, and whatever else, out of granny squares, but I never started. SO New Year new projects right? So the first Pixel Art, or 8 Bit, project I decided to do was this adorable little droid. I was excited and satisfied with the final project, I hope to get 100x better with future products. So I added this Star Wars character to my Etsy Shop, the one I made is ready to ship, then I will make them "Made to Order." BB-8 is the cute little droid everyone loved to see roll across the screen of the Force Awakens. Here's a little back story: "BB-8 was first seen in the The Force Awakens teaser trailer released by Lucasfilm on November 28, 2014. In the film, the robot is the astromech droid of the Resistance X-wing fighter pilot Poe. Poe entrusts him with a map that must be delivered to the Resistance headquarters in order to determine the whereabouts of Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker. While Poe is captured and interrogated by the sinister First Order commander Kylo Ren, BB-8 flees across the desert of the planet Jakku and finds sanctuary with the plucky scavenger Rey. Eventually Rey, the renegade stormtrooper Finn, Han Solo and Chewbacca bring BB-8 to Resistance leader Leia Organa, and ultimately reunite him with Poe." Great, right? Well anyways this mat/rug is perfect for any room in your house, and is a great conversation piece. Because who doesn't love Star Wars? (If you have a wood or tile floor you want to put it on, get some no-slip rug patches from your local store for cheap) The dimensions of my Pixel BB-8 are 32 inches by 24 inches. I make each square separately, and then sew them altogether by hand :) It can be a great gift for a house warming party, also. Here's the Etsy Link:

Need a little beach cover up? Don't we all? That's why I made these shorts, I'm a Florida girl, about 10 minutes from the beach. I really wanted some crochet shorts, mermaid style. I just love how the shorts look like scales, and the color is perfect! This is a perfect was to cover up your bathing suit, a one piece, bikini, it doesn't matter, this will look cute either way!

Now to make these shorts perfect for you, all you have to do it send me the measurements of the top of your hip, as shown in the photo. The waist has a drawstring tie, so that makes life SO much easier.

Newborn Baby Crochet Nemo Cocoon

FINDING NEMO CROCHET COCOON FOR NEWBORNS!

It's on ETSY to buy too:

Nemo Newborn Crochet Cocoon

Why did I make this you ask? Well my cousin has a friend, a friend who happened to be pregnant. The nickname of the little unborn boy will be Nemo. Yes, go ahead and say 'aww'. I did too.
She then asked me if I could make a Nemo Cocoon. She sent a picture of how she wanted it to look and everything. SO, like the procrastinator I am, I did it the day before, and finished it the day of the baby shower. Oh, I wish I could've seen her friend's face when she gave it to her...

But I simply got a cocoon pattern offline: Crochet Cocoon Pattern (free), changed the pattern to fit my needs, and WA-LAH(is that how you spell it?)!!
And yes I made the adorable little orange hat too!

Okay. Time to check out the pictures!!
