T Shirts = Yarn Alternative! Extra Sturdy and fun to do!

T-Yarn/Sharn Bag

I've finally gotten over my lazy streak and decided to finish my T-Yarn Tote Bag. My sister calls it sharn(shirt-yarn), and I think that's an appropriate name. Making yarn out of old t-shirts is actually really easy to do, you can just look up videos on Youtube! Preferable shirts are ones without side seams, because those get very annoying when cutting the shirt.

You have to use a larger hook when crocheting with this type of yarn, I used a 9mm hook to make my bag.  Sharn is really nice, it's also thick and sturdy so don't worry about the yarn being torn or anything like that~

I cut off the bottom hems of the shirts, tied them together, and used them as the bag's straps
